Copyright and licenses

• Model data. U.S. EPA USEEIO v2.0.1 is a work of the United States Government and is in the public domain.
• Interface components. EPA's useeio-widgets (the impact profile, sector heatmap and IO-table views) are released under the CC0 1.0 public domain dedication. Charts use ApexCharts (MIT license).
• Typefaces. Source Sans 3 and Source Serif 4, SIL Open Font License 1.1.
• Course pages. The tool page, Method, Model, Documentation, Tutorial, FAQ and this page are by the CEE 226 teaching team, Stanford University, Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering. Students in the course may use and copy them for coursework.

Citing results from this site

If you use results from the tool, cite the site, the model and the date. For example:

The copy button on the tool page produces a longer block that includes the price conversion and every indicator; use it in an appendix. The model itself is cited as: Ingwersen, W. Fair use

The site exists for teaching. Results are estimates from a national average model; they are not a substitute for a process-based assessment of a specific product and carry no warranty. Nothing on the site is confidential and no login is required. If you reuse the pages or the derived files elsewhere, keep the attribution to EPA and to the course.

Privacy

The site keeps no accounts and stores nothing you enter. The pages load the model files into your browser and compute there.
