Model

The site serves one model: U.S. EPA USEEIO v2.0.1, 411-commodity detail, called USEEIOv2.0.1-411. It is the successor to the U.S. models that CMU's eiolca.net hosted. The version is pinned for the quarter; every page and every copied result names it. The same model is also served by eiolca.net (online again since September 2026, with greenhouse-gas and economic results only), which remains the place for the older 1992–2007 U.S. models and for the Canada, Germany, Spain, Peru and China models.

Files served

The model is served as static JSON files under api/USEEIOv2.0.1-411/: the sector list, the indicator list, the flow list, and the matrices A (direct requirements), L (Leontief inverse), D (impact per dollar of output), N (impact per dollar of final demand, including the supply chain) and Nd (the direct part). The files are the export of EPA's model build as packaged by the ModelEarth project. The teaching team verified them against EPA's published model workbook; the largest relative deviation found was 5 × 10⁻¹⁶.
