Tutorial: a worked example

A worked example: $1 million of cement, sector 327310, at 2012 producer prices.

Step 1. The sector

Type cement in the search box and choose 327310 — Cement. Or pick the group Manufacturing and then the sector from the list.

Step 2. The amount

Leave the mode on Dollar amount and enter 1000000. Leave the year at 2012 and the basis at Producer. If your price were a 2018 purchaser price, you would set those instead and the tool would convert it; the conversion is shown with the results.

Step 3. The category

Choose Greenhouse gases.

Step 4. Run

Press Run the model.
