Enter the amount Enter dollars, or a quantity in the unit you choose and the price per that unit; the model only sees the dollars, so the unit is yours and the price must match it. Give the price year and whether it is a producer price (what the seller receives) or a purchaser price (what the buyer pays). The tool converts to 2012 producer dollars and shows the conversion with the results. The model's price adjusters run from 2002 to 2018: for a later price, deflate it to 2018 dollars first (BLS PPI or CPI) and choose 2018.
